10 Most Crowded Places on Earth

Sponsored list by You

Big city living isn’t for everyone. There are some cities bigger than some nations. It might sound like a stretch, but check out this TT10 and decide for yourself.

10. New York, USA- Population: 7,362,600

The big Apple comes in at #10. I get a certain sadistic glee when I think about all the New Yorkers who are going to be upset when they read this. All I can say is “HAVE MORE BABIES NEW YORK!”

9. Istanbul, Turkey – Population: 7,774,169

Established by the Greeks some 1,500 years ago, this seaport has seen many changes. This is one of the most spectacular and underrated tourist destinations in the world, in my humble opinion.

8. Tokyo, Japan – Population: 8,021,943

“And 3?!?!” Leave it to the Japanese. Still I would have thought Tokyo ranked higher, but nope.

7. Shanghai, China – Population: 8,205,598

Well, we knew China would show up in a “most people” count down. There’s no way they could be left out. Shanhai is a pretty cool city, so you won’t hear any grumblings from me about it.

6. Mexico City, Mexico – Population: 8,591,309

There’s not a lot written about Mexico City on TT10 so I’m glad I finally got a chance to. Having said that I’d like to say I have nothing to add to the previous statement.

5. Moscow, Russia – Population: 9,000,000

This Russian city is the first European city on the list and one of the oldest cities in Europe.

4. Jakarta, Indonesia – Population: 9,373,900

Where the heck is Jakarta? Hardly anyone I know can even find Indonesia on a map. I need to get a high class of friends.

3. Sao Paulo, Brazil – Population: 9,839,436

A crowded elevator in Sao Paulo breaks and crashes. A horrible yet suitable example to prove our point that this Brazilian city sure is crowded. Or demolished, either way.

2. Mumbai, India – Population: 9,900,000

Despite Angelina Jolie adopting half the populace of India, this city still comes in strong at #2.

1. Seoul, South Korea – Population: 10,321,449

I was as surprised as you. Tell all your friends and neighbors. Really? Seoul?
