Some credit to the directors? It’s a list of best videos, not best songs. “Leave it to the White Stripes to break ground by going back.” Michel Gondry directed the video and came up with the idea, if I’m not mistaken.

I definitely think that a few of Chris Cunninghams vids should be on this list. His Aphex Twin videos are spectacular. I would suggest Windowlicker and Come to Daddy. His Bjork vid kiills the one on this list, even though it was made in ’99.

At least one Gorillaz song should have placed somewhere on the list; doesn’t matter which spot or song, really. Sharp colors, vivid graphics and storytelling make for fun, if not bizarre videos.

am I the only one who was unimpressed by single ladies? sure, it’s neat. good dancing. but it’s just dancing. nothing spectacular. and the moves clearly go with what is being said in the video, it’s not some mysterious interpretive dance.

some of these are good, but there are definitely better videos out there.

Yeah I don’t totally agree with this list but I guess its okay. My question is is why do you categorize Jay’s video as another booty video? C’mon I only saw like 4 cuts, shart cuts at that, of booty. I’m just saying that description could use some revisions.
